Times flow very fast. I did my industrial training in Plexus for a month already! There are 3 categories of QA department, Product Quality, Supplier Quality Engineering(SQE) and Incoming Quality Assurance(IQA). I was placed under the department of QA-product quality. My internship supervisor is a married lady while my co-supervisor is a cute lady who's going to married in this coming Sat. I had a co-supervisor because my supervisor was too busy to handle me...haha! When i join their department, I was told that she had 4 projects under her, that's y she was so busy cos she was the Head Section of Product Quality. So,until now I never work for/with her before. I'm currently work for/with my co-supervisor. It's quite nice to do my training there as I learn lots of things such as verifying the body marking checking of printed circuit board assembly(PCBA), how to take the pictures of those PCBA and also using computer software to do documentations. I still remember that I joined Plexus on 2nd of Feb, that time it was still the 8th day of CNY and my supervisor treated me n other colleagues for lunch to welcome me. I was quite happy and surprised cos I never heard that during our industrial training, the supervisor will treat their trainees for a meal. If the supervisor didnt bully u or ignore u, it was considered that lucky already. When I told this to my friends n ex-seniors, they were happy for me too cos this shows that my supervisor is a good person. Ya, i need to admit that she's a good supervisor though i din work with her before, but I can really see from her performance and the experiences that she shared with me cos I always have lunch with her...haha! She's also a serious person who really focus on her works and this is different with other supervisor of my friends. As I meantioned before in my previous blog, 2 of my classmates also join in Plexus with me but they are in SQE department. Both of their supervisors are men who jokes a lot which is totally different from my supervisor.haha! The operators there are quite helpful and skillful as well. Whenever i dunno how to do this or do that, I'll ask and they will teach me without complaining. That's the part where I like the operators. However, the work loads are quite heavy as well cos i'm from QA department which means we are the 1 that dealed with ustomers. Once we received the customer complaint, we need to ensure that the products that shipped out should be zero errors. That's y it involves many documentations as well.... 2 months for me to go before I went back to university. The duration of my internship is very short, i wish that it could be extented somemore. However, my wish wont bcome true as it was stated that it's only 3 months in my university handbook....I still prefer to do training more to going back to university to continue my studies!!!
