Are you a Blogoholic?

Blogging is the new culture in youth lifestyle nowadays that they should probably add the word Blog into the Oxford Dictionary.

Now, slowly step away from the computer and just take your time to read this and if you fit these symptoms, there’s a chance you may be a blogoholic! Not that it’s a bad thing of course…


How do you know you’re a Blogoholic?

- The first thing you do when you get home is to open your blog and put in a new entry.

- You cannot live without internet (3 hours on a train and you’re already complaining).

- You tend to ask people “Have you read my latest blog?” instead of “What’s up with you lately?”

- You’re starting to earn more by blogging then your day job.

- Many things you do are governed by your blog (like trying the new spicy Indian cuisine just so you could post it on your blog).

- You think you’re popular cos your number of guests at your blog just reached 5 digits.

- You get invited for events for media coverage…and the invite’s addressed to “Dear Blogger”.

- You actually get recognized when you go out, but not because of your daredevil stunts back in high school.

- Your dog has its own Dogster and your idea of bonding with it is by updating it constantly.

- You carry a 555 notebook with the title “Blog Topics” everywhere you go.

- Your girlfriend is breaking up with you because you’re more obsessed with Kenny Sia then what she has to say.


Why it’s so addictive?

- You can look like Jabba the Hutt and yet still people find no fault in you except for your writing.

- Your life always seemed so much more HAPPENNING in blogs then in real life.

- This is the only way you can get people to listen to you!

- Apparently, many make money when people read your blogs!

- It’s way easier than mailing or phoning…and it’s actually interacting with the masses.

- It’s your online diary, just in case your forget things that happened to you.

- You get psyched when people leave comments on your blog, shows that people are reading your life!

- You can express your most inner thoughts without listening to criticism from people and you can go anonymous.

This means you can trash the new girl in school online without her knowing that you’re the culprit! Brilliant!
