1. Check the brakes on your vehicle as well as other stuff and make sure the experts take a look at it before you embark on your loooong journey home.

Touching Story

I was walking around in a Target store, when I saw a Cashier hand this little boy some money back.

The boy couldn ' t have been more than 5 or 6 years old.

The Cashier said, ' I ' m sorry, but you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll. '

Then the little boy turned to the old woman next to him: ' ' Granny, are you sure I don ' t have enough money? ' '

The old lady replied: ' ' You know that you don ' t have enough money to buy this doll, my dear. ' '

Then she asked him to stay there for just 5 minutes while she went to look around. She left quickly.

The little boy was still holding the doll in his hand.

Finally, I walked toward him and I asked him who he wished to give this doll to.

'It ' s the doll that my sister loved most and wanted so much for Christmas.

She was sure that Santa Claus would bring it to her. '

But he replied to me sadly. ' No, Santa Claus can ' t bring it to her where she is now. I have to give the doll to my mommy so that she can give it to my sister when she goes there. '

His eyes were so sad while saying this. ' My Sister has gone to be with God. Daddy says that Mommy is going to see God very soon too, so I thought that she could take the doll with her to give it to my sister. ' '

My heart nearly stopped.

The little boy looked up at me and said: ' I told daddy to tell mommy not to go yet. I need her to wait until I come back from the mall. '

Then he showed me a very nice photo of himself. He was laughing. He then told me ' I want mommy to take my picture with her so she won ' t forget me. '

'I love my mommy and I wish she didn' t have to leave me, but daddy says that she has to go to be with my little sister. '

Then he looked again at the doll with sad eyes, very quietly.

I quickly reached for my wallet and said to the boy. ' Suppose we check again, just in case you do have enough money for the doll! ' '

'OK ' he said, ' I hope I do have enough. ' I added some of my money to his without him seeing and we started to count it. There was enough for the doll and even some spare money.

The little boy said: ' Thank you God for giving me enough money! '

Then he looked at me and added, ' I asked last night before I went to sleep for God to make sure I had enough money to buy this doll, so that mommy could give it to my sister. He heard me! ' '

'I also wanted to have enough money to buy a white rose for my mommy, but I didn ' t dare to ask God for too much. But He gave me enough to buy the doll and a white rose. ' '

'My mommy loves white roses. '

A few minutes later, the old lady returned and I left with my basket.

I finished my shopping in a totally different state of mind from when I started.

I couldn ' t get the little boy out of my mind.

Then I remembered a local news paper article two days ago, which mentioned a drunk man in a truck, who hit a car occupied by a young woman and a little girl.

The little girl died right away, and the mother was left in a critical state. The family had to decide whether to pull the plug on the life-sustaining machine, because the young woman would not be able to recover from the coma.

Was this the family of the little boy?

Two days after this encounter with the little boy, I read in the news paper that the young woman had passed away.

I couldn ' t stop myself as I bought a bunch of white roses and I went to the funeral home where the body of the young woman was for people to see and make last wishes before her burial.

She was there, in her coffin, holding a beautiful white rose in her hand with the photo of the little boy and the doll placed over her chest.

I left the place, teary-eyed, feeling that my life had been changed for ever.. The love that the little boy had for his mother and his sister is still, to this day, hard to imagine.

And in a fraction of a second, a drunk driver had taken all this away from him.

Scared:My sample caught on fire!

I every Fri no class1 cos Fri is d research project day for us..We can use d whole day of Fri to do our final yr project..so,of course i oso do my project 2day...
I dunno wat shuld i said abt d incident happened 2day...it's lucky o....?y did i say so leh?cos when i do my sample preparation half way,my sample caught on fire~!i really got shocked ady although i knw tat my project is quite dangerous n it may cause explosion,BUT i still cant expect it's really happening lol!my final yr project title is photocatalytical removal of metal ions,whr i nid to coat my stainless plates with TiO2,titanium dioxide with methanol..i started to do my coating process since 930am n it caught on fire at 330pm...
B4 tat,my supervisor,Ms Vijenthi alwz remind me n asked me to b careful as im doing her master project,of course not exactly d same but it's quite similar la...she had a bad experience tat her samples was caught on fire n it even burnt her lab coat as she used 220V of voltage...so,i was thinking im juz only use 35V of voltage which means abt 6 times smaller of voltages than hers...i oso dont believe tat my samples can catch on fire cos it's only 35 V mah..who knws my sample really caught fire n im too shocked to do anything...Luckily,i quickly throw away my samples as i was holding it when i saw d flame n fire is inside d methanol + TIO2 solution!
Fortunately,im not alone in d Chemistry Lab 2day!When i saw d fire,im so scare n i juz knw how to shout Wee Shen,my classmate to help me to put off d fire..Wee Shen asked me to go out n ask for help,BUT there's nobody there!not even lecturers n my scientific officer was not there as well..Finally,i saw an Engineering lecturer n i asked him to help me...So,d Engineering lecturer came in n asked me d contents of my solution..i told him tat it was d solution of alcohol n i dun think we can use water to put off d fire as i scared it may explode!He is an Engineering lecturer n he knws nothing abt Chemistry,so he oso couldnt help much..he asked me to find my Scientific Officer as soon as possible..i couldnt call my Scientific Officer as she left her phones in d lab!Luckily she came back to d lab n she used water to put off d fire!How brave was she,man....i juz cant imagine she's so brave enough to do so as i was so scared until i oso dunno wat to do,my brains r not functioning ady!According to her,this is not her 1st time seeing this n she get used ady...She oso said tat luckily she came back early cos if we juz leave d fire like tat,it'll juz explode like tat within half an hour!Imagine tat,if tat really happens,i dunno wat's going to happen with Wee Shen as i was running up n down to find ppl for help!OMG,Thx to God,luckily Wee Shen was with me,if not,im sure i dead in d lab ady...
Frankly to say,i oso dunno y my sample can catch on fire..i had been doing this so many times ady n this is d 1st time it caught on fire...According to d Scientific Officer,it's because i had been switching on d Voltage too long time ady,as i said i had been doing my project non-stop since 930am n it caught on fire at 330pm..BUT,i still think tat it might b 1 of d reasons,but d main reasons is mb due to my "itchy mouth"..cos while doing my samples coating,Wee Shen keep reminding me to b careful n more alert as Ms Vijenthi told them abt how dangerous my project is..Yet im keep saying tat it wont catch on fire as d voltage is very small...who knws,it ends up like tat...haiz~!
Nw,i learnt fr my mistakes ady!nvr get panic when something bad happened...i hv to alwz remember this as Wee Shen will not doing his project in d Chemistry Lab ady,he'll b doing his in Biotech Lab...tat means if nxt time my samples catch on fire again,TouchWood!!! i hope there wont b nxt time anymore..i really very scared n panic tat time..
Im sure my Scientific Offficer wont allow me to do my project until late at night ady cos she said she's so worry n scared of me if she allowed me to do so as i had a "bad impression" for her ady(samples getting fire!)......

Tired but Happy

Today,8th of November is AIMST Unity Run.So,we d members of TECHNO-ENTREPRENEURSHIP Club (d club of my course,Materials Technology with Management) open stalls selling ice-blended with pearl,milk shake with pearl, sweet crepe,savoury crepe (single n mixture). There are few flavours of them n it's very delicious oso.If it's not delicious,we wont ask d handsome guy,Bob to close his stalls in d shopping complex n come over AIMST n sell it!i din lie,it's very nice.There r few stalls selling ice-blended wif pearl in d shopping complex,BUT only Bob's stall hv business compare to others.We start selling at 830am n tat time there was only 3 of us (include me),Bob n his assistant,Heng.The business was so good until im so bz for taking orders,collecting money n oso sending d food cos we sold many food n my other 2 frenz r helping out wif Bob n Heng.
I really would like to thank Wee Shen cos w/out his help,i dunno wat's going to happen on me ady. He helped me to count d money as our Maths quite good mah n i count d profits tat both Bob n us shuld get. We managed to sell off 104 items n earned abt RM500 something in juz half a day. But,we shared d profit based on our promise lol.It's still not bad,rite?Both of us still earning n Bob oso earn more ..hehe!
*Actually,when d 1st time to buy crepe fr him at d Central Square,shopping complex in Sg Petani,i had a crush on him lol..haha!cos he was quite handsome,polite and soft-speaking,but he doesnt really look like "sisi" la!Then,yesterday,we go to his stall again (to confirm sum things wif him cos 2day he's cuming over mah),i got to knw tat he oso do voluntary work every Friday!Wah,he's such a nice,sweet n kind guy,man!i think i had went to his stalls few times lol,but i seldom talk to him (unlike my frenz,they alwz talk to him n ask his personal things).But,since he agreed to cum to AIMST to sell d food,i begin to talk wif him lol cos it's much more easier to communicate mah,same race n similar thinking!haha!
N of course i talk more to him cos im in charge in taking d orders n gv him d orders,remind him......when i was bz,i was confused ady n he consoled me lol...so sweet la him~!*

Worried

i was quite bz tis few days in fact tis few weeks la...tat's y couldnt write blog abt d incident on d exact day. Previously i did mention tat i couldnt get any company for my internship (industrial training) nxt yr Jan. Who knws I got a call fr a company,QDos (opposite Seagate) on 3rd, Mon, 250pm. Unfortunately, they placed me under Purchasing and Quotation Department. I heard d terms b4,but i dunno wat's d meaning of tat.So, i asked d HR Manager,Ms Ong wat izzit abt tis n wat am i going to learn fr there. She replied me very briefly n seems tat want to hang up my phone asap. I was a bit suspicious cos she said tat it was something related to my course.So, i called my FYP (final yr project) supervisor,Ms Vijenthi n asked her abt d department. I found out tat it involves documentation works n pricing of materials!i was so shocked n disappointed cos i learn nothing fr there if i really go there for training. My course is Materials Technology with Management,but still major in Materials Engineering mah,how come place me in tis department?i knw my course syllabus includes management oso,but i still dun really want to do wif 100% documentation for my 3 months training!

I was happy n disappointed at d same time!happy bcos i finally got company for training ady,disappointed bcos i din get my desired placement of department.

Actually,most of them (my frenz,ex-seniors n supervisor) dun really agree me to go to QDos lol.BUT,i still hv to agree tat i wanted it cos if i reject QDos,i scared no other company will call me up for training. Imagine tat,i had applied 20 over companies in Kulim,Perai n Bayan Lepas areas n only 1 replied me n accept me only!So,i juz answer ok to cos Ms Ong straight said tat she accepted me for doing training in QDos n d best part is she nvr interview me..hehe!cos my previous experience was the HR Manager of Plexus interviewed me thru phone calls!

I was worried again cos im trying to force myself n trying to imagine myself training in d Purchasing n Quotation Department n i really cannot accept it la.i was so hoping tat other companies will call me up n at least placed me under d department which is really related to my course lol....~

Careless or Unlucky??

1. Due to Hari Raya, i hv a week of holidays lol..but i really "misused" d holidays..i used 5days of d holidays juz to find solutions n answers for my assignment!!of course,some of d days i used to complete my presentations,electronic materials n magnetic materials...d electronic materials presentations hv to present on 6th oct,which is yesterday..d topic of my presentation is Logic Gates & Boolean Algebra, it's mainly on calculation..i did 16 slides of ppt.2 of d slides,i wrote wrong ans n nobody notice tat except my lecturer,Dr Joesph!!this shows tat my classmates r not focusing on wat i said lol...haiz...i dun think they dun understand lol cos Dr Joseph said tat i explained tat part quite well,easy to understand..mb it's true tat they r not focusing lol cos they dun really like calculations except me!!haha!i was so embarrassed....later,Dr Joseph asked me to calculate n wrote d correct ans on d white board to c tat i really understand o not o i juz copy n paste fr internet...haha!of course i did all correct la,but still hv to explain d same thing again...haiz!i really din notice tat mistakes lol...if not,my presentations will b perfect ady~~hehe!but,i think due to this minor mistakes,he dun really impress my presentations ady cos b4 tat he was quite impress my presentations1...sad..sad~~


2. As i said juz nw,i used most of d time to do d assignments n yet i still hv a ques dunno how to do...so coincidently Dr Joseph sat nxt to me during our presentations,so i asked him abt d ques in d assignments tat i dunno how to do 1...he explained to me how to do,then i told him tat i had done it but still couldnt get d correct ans..i plan to show him tat i had done d steps tat he had mentioned,so i looked for my assignments lol...who knws?i fail to prove to him lol cos i couldnt find my assignments!!!i reallty couldnt remember whr i put ady..so,how arr?of course yesterday after class,i straight go back to Butterworth la...waste tol money,petrol money n oso my energy nia...haiz!!!of course i dun want to do it again cos i oledi 4got how i did ady n yet i spent a lot of time to do d assignments 1,tat's y i rather go back hometown than do it again..somemore,i hv other presentations to do,i dun want to waste time mah...hehe!

Conclusion is: alwz check thoroughly tat all things had been taken back b4 go back to campus..dun assume tat things had been taken lol~~

Beware of Torch Light

One morning a few months ago in broad daylight, a girl was getting into her car when a few men approached her with what looked like a torchlight. Quite harmless looking. They pressed the 'torchlight' into her back and immediately she went limp and very pale. So she wouldn't be able to fight back, they slashed her thigh with a parang and sped away in her car. There were many people around and they quickly took her to the nearest clinic. There were two doctors at that time and they managed to stitch up her wound but the girl remained pulse-less and still pale as paper. No pulse, no BP (blood pressure). Just like dead. The doctors were confused as to how one wound on the thigh made the girl almost like dead? They managed to revive her and save her life. After some checking around, the doctors found out what actually happened was that the girl was made unconscious not by a torchlight but actually a high voltage weapon. They are not sure how many watts she mentioned. 1000? Anyway, it was high enough to kill a person by electrocution. It seems this weapon is from China . It's not rampant yet in Malaysia,but with this thing, a person can rob, rape, kill, kidnap, and practically do anything to you.Thedoctors said that if the girl weren't taken to the clinic immediately she would have died because there was no pulse on her. Be careful!

Yesterday,i met up an old friend,Hilary. we did not meet up each other after F5 (i think got 6 yrs ady)..quite long horr, last yr only we contact each other thru msn n sms lol..actually, we used to b close friends when we r in F3. after tat,we seldom keep in touch ady...but,tis's not d main issue..
we went to Sunway Carnival n shopping..then,we went to Is Bowl Rice to hv a drink..we talked abt relationship stuff n suddenly it reminded me abt a so-called "past relationship"...i nvr knw tat Hilary oso knw abt tat cos i din tell her oso..hehe!
it happens like tat:
when i was in F4,there used to b a guy,O who's quite close wif me.he alwz exchanged d seat wif my frenz n sat nxt to me.he alwz b my side,talked wif me n whenever im in trouble,he's d 1st who helped me.his close frenz,who is oso my frenz did tell me tat he likes me,but i thought tat they were juz joking as they like to joke wif me...but,i dunno tat time he was in d process of "pikating"me ...i was too naive n stupid tat time.i oso dunno tat he likes me cos all d while i thought he treated me as his best frenz mah...until 1 day,i received a new yr card fr him.he proposed to me in d card w/out any signature...i started to ask my frenz n all of them refuse to tell who's d 1 tat sent d card to me.then,i realized tat he was 1 who put d card in my desk cos i can recognize his handwriting mah!hehe!but im not so sure it's him oso until he asked me whether i had read d contents of d card,then only im very sure tat he's d 1 lol...even a small kid oso knw la cos d way he asked me like so obvious...i replied him saying yes,i had read.he asked for my final decision n i replied "NO" cos for me,he's too good,too nice n too handsome n im juz a very simple and normal gal.im not suitable for him lol if we really go out like tat,im sure many ppl will look at us 1 kind..he oso nvr ask me d reasons y i rejected him.he juz sat it's ok n left me there alone.when i go back tat nite,i cried non-stop cos i really like him1...d nxt day,when we saw each other again,he tried to avoid me.he refused to look o to talk wif me ady...i really feel regret for rejecting him lol..i had tried my best to talk to him,mb we can change d situation.however,he still keep avoiding me...this continues for a yr until i gave him a birthday present. obviously,i wont gv him d present my own,i asked my frenz to pass to him as he refuse to c me..after tat,he came n said thanks to me.he even tell me tat his mum like d present as well..i was so happy until i couldnt sleep tat nite..things r better nw,he finally talk to me ady!he no longer avoid me,BUT we r no longer as close as last times..mb both of us r bz wif our own stuffs..after few months,i heard tat he had a gf.my heart was so hurt n i really very sad tat time...i dunno wat happened in between he n d gal cos their relationship ends quite fast,juz few months only..actually,after his break-up wif d gal,i did think of proposing to him,but i dun hv d courage to do so cos i scared tat he might reject me like how i rejected him (i scared tat he wanted to revenge me due to my stupid thinking).in d end,i really din talk abt tis matter to him..after tat,all of us graduated F5 n we din contact each other until nw...tis case happened at 7 yrs ago,2001...
sometimes,when i was thinking back d past,i felt like i was too stupid n over-thinking...if i dun think too much,if i really fight for my happiness,im sure im very happy n satisfied nw...i oso din c him for 7 yrs ady......really miss him a lot!
sometimes,i was thinking y he gives up so fast?y he din try n ask me again?if he proposed to me d 2nd time,i sure will agree1...y is him like tat?1 time of failure doesnt mean tat u'll fail 4ver mah...
If i got d chance to meet him again,d 1st word tat i would say to him is SORRY!i din mean to hurt u...in fact,i was suffering oso...
hope he's nw in good condition n everything goes smoothly......
i hope we hv d chance to meet up 1day...BUT,i dunno when..perhaps,2mrw?nxt month?nxt yr?o we wont c each other 4ever ady??it's a big question mark,i oso dunno when........
